Meetings
Meetings are usually held the third Saturday of the month, September through May.
A summer get-together is also scheduled year by year.
The December meeting traditionally is held the second Saturday as a “loom crawl,” a holiday get-together at various members’ houses.
Meetings usually consist of a business portion when the affairs of the guild are discussed, a show-and-tell to display members’ work, and a program in fiber. Plenty of time for sharing and socializing is always a favorite.
Currently, the Guild meets at the Madison Library, 994 Madison Ave, Madison, MS. (From I-55, take the Madison Avenue Exit to town. The library is just beyond the Miss 51 crossing.)
The Mississippi Craft Center, home of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi at 950 Rice Road in Ridgeland, MS., had long been the usual location of regular meetings.
Because time and place are subject to change, please contact us for information about a specific meeting.
